Now, it’s time to measure and optimize your ASO efforts!

In this article, I will provide you with the most critical metrics, divided into 3 groups:

  • Group 1: Keywords Performance
  • Group 2: Conversion & Cost
  • Group 3: Advanced Metrics to level up your ASO skills

Group 1: Keywords Performance

(*) Firstly, you should integrate Apptweak with your Google Play Console for Android Apps & App Store Connect for iOS Apps. It will bring you insightful and more accurate data, such as the number of Installs of a specific keyword . (**) You and your team have to do tracking manually because it’s the most accurate way to measure the current ranking of every keyword. On Apptweak, you can find the ranking metrics of keywords, but they are… incorrect! Thus, this manual method is the only way to ensure accuracy.

This series of ASO articles aim to educate mass ASO learners; we don’t customize the metrics for any specific industry. The Keywords Performance in Group 1 and the Conversion & Cost in group 2 are fundamental that anyone should know. Then tailor for their business.

However, if you aim to become an ASO expert or simply want to learn deeper, please invest your time in exploring other advanced metrics in these platforms: Apptweak, Google Play Console, App Store Connect, and Appsflyer.
